Many of us have heard about the Moon Phases and how
they affect mankind. But what exactly is a Moon Phase? The Moon has been known
to affect humans since the Stone Age. In fact, it has long been thought that
the Moon, and not the Sun, created life on Earth.
The Moon is a planet that travels around the Galaxy
at different speeds. Each month, it comes closest to the Earth, or closest to
its own system, at a different time. This phase is called the Waxing Moon. It's
when the day and night are almost the same. Usually, this happens during the spring
or summer.
Another common name for the Moon Phases is the perigee.
It describes the first quarter of the Moon. It's the only time when the full
Moon is visible. Most people are familiar with the names for these phases, such
as first quarter, gibbous, first quarter, and last quarter. What you may not be
as familiar with is what affects people during these phases. Below is a list of
information about each phase and what affects the people who are around at that
time.
Gibbous: During this phase, many new petals and
leaves form on the trees and plants. You'll also notice that there is a lot
more plant growth on the ground. Gibbous phases happen every six months. The
second half of the gibbous phase is the best time to take part in gardening.
First Quarter: This phase is the first full moon of the year. It lasts from about November to March. This is also the time when most crops are maturing. At first, farmers and ranchers will be happy to harvest early.
Gibbous: The gibbous phase has no clouds. The sky
is clear and has a slight reddish glow. The flowers open up and the grass
begins to grow. This is the best time to see new wildlife at night. Many birds
stop eating during the first week of the gibbous phase.
First Quarter: The first quarter is the first full
Moon after the new Moon. People will notice that the crops are not growing or
that they are not flowering as much. You might notice that there are fewer bugs
around. A Farmers' Market will start to crop up more often during this time.
First Quarter represents a time of transition and
there are many new and old traditions associated with it. The New Moon is
believed to usher in new beginnings and abundance. The New Moon also symbolizes
fertility and is the one responsible for women giving birth. The New Moon also
represents strong growth and change.
Second Quarter: The second quarter is considered
the Full Moon. It is also known as the Third Moon Phases. It is the beginning of
planting and nurturing. The planting will begin the next day. Expect to see a
new approach to relationship building, family matters, and career goals.
The second quarter represents the Second Wave of the
New Moon. It symbolizes the beginning of the winter season. The leaves start to
change color and the cold weather becomes more intense. The plants will not be
able to bear the harsh winter conditions. It will not be possible for farming
and planting will come to a halt during this period.
Third Quarter: The third quarter is the Full Moon.
It is the last phase before the new Moon. The best time for harvesting,
planting, and nurturing will take place. Farmers will have to focus on their
crops and make sure that the harvest will be successful.
Fourth Quarter: The fourth quarter is called the New Moon. It represents the new beginnings. If you have decided to shift to a new lifestyle, this is the time to do it. Expect to feel happier, healthier, and more refreshed. Your intuition w
